Google Chrome won't work at school?

Proxy issues

If the browser seems to take a long time to load a website or search, it may be configured to access pages through a supported web proxy.
These steps will change your proxy settings, potentially disabling your web access. Use the below steps only if you can't connect to the Internet and you are sure you need a proxy to do so. Consult your network administrator if you're unsure about what settings to use.
  1. Click the network icon network icon in the lower-right corner of your screen.
  2. Select Settings and find the "Internet connection" section on the Settings page that appears.
  3. For most connections, make sure the Allow proxies for shared networks box in the General section is selected. If you select this option, all profiles on your Chromebook will use the proxy settings set for a network.
  4. Click the network you're using.
  5. Select Network options from the menu.
  6. In the dialog that appears, click the Proxy tab.
  7. Configure your proxy settings.
Note: "Proxy-authorization"-enabled proxies are not currently supported.
